1.Find LCD or multiply the denominator of the second fraction
2.Then solve, example:
1/3 + 2/5 =
(1/3)*5 = 5/15
(2/5)* 3 = 6/15
=5/15 + 6/15 = 11/15
—Subtracting Fraction:
1.Find LCD or multiply the denominator of the second fraction
2.Then solve, example:
3/5 -1/4=
(3/5)* 4 = 12/20
(1/4)*5 = 5/20
=12/20 – 5/20 = 7/20
